NJSCPA
The firm's management is also
proud to be longstanding active members of the New Jersey State Society of
Certified Public Accountants. In addition to serving on dozens of
Committees throughout the years, two of our managing partners have served as
president of this organization. Today, our firm continues its
commitment to the organization and its efforts to improve best practices for
CPAs in New Jersey. Our team serves in leadership roles, contributes written
materials for the professional journal and participates in educational
activities.
FCG
Hunter Group
is also a member of The Financial Consulting Group. The Financial Consulting
Group is the nation's largest organization of independently owned
accounting, business valuation, and financial services firms. FCG
members are experienced, credentialed, financial experts and leaders in the
valuation profession. FCG members serve on the Business Valuation
Committees of the AICPA and the ASA, participate in national business
valuation conferences, serve as instructors, and write valuation books,
articles, and newsletters.
ASA
Hunter Group is also a member of the
American Society of
Appraisers.
The American Society
of Appraisers is an organization of appraisal professionals and others
interested in the appraisal profession. International in structure, it is
self-supporting and independent. The oldest and only major appraisal
organization representing all of the disciplines of appraisal specialists,
the society originated in 1936 and incorporated in 1952. ASA's headquarters
is in the metropolitan Washington, D.C., area.
The society is
dedicated to the benefit of the appraisal profession. It is one of eight
major appraisal societies that, in 1987, founded The Appraisal Foundation, a
national nonprofit organization created to establish uniform criteria for
professional appraisers. Since 1989 The Appraisal Foundation has been
recognized by the U.S. Congress as the source for the development and
promulgation of appraisal standards and qualifications.
