Maria Plucinsky, CPA
has been a member of the Hunter Group team
for over 19 years, joining the firm as a
result of our 1987 acquisition of the
Paterson firm of Schotz Simon Miller &
Company. A Certified Public Accountant in
the State of New Jersey, Maria has over 20
years of public accounting experience,
including more than fifteen years
specializing in non-profits, including
both Single audit and Yellow Book audit
assignments.
In addition, Maria has experience in
auditing contracts from the US Department
of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the
NJ Department of Health & Senior Services,
the NJ Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA),
the New Jersey Department of Human Services,
which |
includes the Division of Youth and Family
Services (DYFS), the Division of Mental
Health Services (DMHS), the Division of
Developmentally Disabled (DDD), and the
Division of Family Development (DFD), which
includes Abbott Preschool funding. Maria
consistently earns the required CPE credits
to perform audits under Government Auditing
Standards.
A graduate
of William Paterson University, Maria is a
member of the AICPA and the NJSCPA, where
she is an active member of the State
Society’s Not-for-Profit Interest Group. A
resident of Fairfield, she is also active in
the North Essex Chamber of Commerce.
