Currently a
Director in the tax department of Hunter
Group CPA LLC, Rosemary Ervin joined the
firm in 1989. Prior to her joining the tax
department, Rosemary was a supervisor of
accounting services for Hunter Group, one of
New Jersey’s leading certified public
accounting and business consulting
organizations.
A frequently-quoted expert on issues
relating to tax and tax planning, Rosemary’s
comments have appeared in the Star Ledger
and The Record. In addition, she has
appeared on the News 12 cable TV programs
discussing the impact of several Federal and
New Jersey tax law revisions. Rosemary is a
frequent speaker on tax issues and is also
the author of technical papers on the
subject, including recent submissions
published in Tax Advisor, the AICPA’s
national professional journal.
A member of the New Jersey State Society of
Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) as
well as the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants (AICPA), Rosemary is
active in state society professional
committees. Her committee work has included
Federal Taxation, Cooperation to IRS, and
State Taxation, where she is currently
chairperson of the Meeting With Directors
subcommittee. Rosemary is also a member of
the advisory board for the NJSCPA’s
quarterly magazine, NJ CPA.
Rosemary has been a board member for the
Girl Scouts of Bergen County and presently
serves on the Nominating Committee.
Currently she serves on the board of the
Volunteer Center of Bergen County. Rosemary
is also an active member of Commerce and
Industry Association of NJ’s Women’s
Leadership Initiative. A graduate of
Fairleigh Dickinson University, Rosemary
earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in
economics and a Masters in Business
Administration in accounting.
